What is the link between Tigerland and the following exotic-sounding overseas locations - Wilayah Persekutua, Krung Thep Mahanakhon, Ile-De-France, Hessen, Nonthaburi, Stockholm Lan, Noord-Holland?

Well, they all happen to appear on the top-25 list of places (states, territories, countries, regions, provinces and counties) generating the most page views on Richmond’s official website for the month of January 2011.

Not surprisingly, Victoria topped the list, with 300,270 views, followed by New South Wales, second (63,836 views), Queensland third (35,037), Western Australia fourth (23,084), South Australia fifth (14,655), ACT sixth (13,722) and Tasmania seventh (4013).

Then, from outside Australia, England was eighth (3122), Singapore ninth (1118), and California 10th (1074).

Malaysian state, Wilayah Persekutua, ranked 14th (490 views); Thai province, Krung Thep Mahanakhon, was 15th (471); French region, Ile-De-France, 20th (323); German state, Hessen, 22nd (293); Thai province, Nonthaburi, 23rd (279); Swedish county, Stockholm Lan, 24th (277); and Dutch province Noord-Holland, 25th (267).

Overall, Richmond ranked in the top four among all AFL clubs for website hits, as it did right throughout 2010.

If you’re one of those Richmond supporters living far across the seas from Punt Road, we would like to see you proudly displaying the famous Yellow and Black colors at a significant landmark near you.

Send your photos to digital@richmondfc.com.au and we’ll display them on our website for all members of the Tiger faith to see.
