Plough makes a good point about out total lack of depth (of which he is partly responsibly for) but how he includes Titch and Whitey in our top 10 is perplexing  ???.

My current top 10:
1. Lids
2. Cotch
3. Jack
4. Newy
5. Martin
daylight...
6. Moore
7. Grigg
8. Jackson
9. Foley
10. King .... an indictment he is but based on the first month of this season he belongs there.

It probably is also an indictment that a ruckman isn't in our top 10 even for a young side. Melbourne have Jamar, North have McIntosh and Essendon have Hille and Ryder.

You would hope in the next year or two the likes of Vickery, Conca, Griffiths, Astbury, top 12 pick 2011 draft, etc ... force their way into our top 10 and easily go past and replace those in our current lower 10. Until then we'll remain a bottom 4 side.

Agree MT  :thumbsup

You would hope so MT the majority of our A Graders and B Graders are made up of our players drafted since the Cotchin draft, excluding of course Deledio Newman Jack and Axel.

Pretty much how I see it too MT.  I would like to see Griffiths, Conca and Batchelor replace Jackson, Foley and King by season's end - that would indicate a reasonable improvement in our depth.

Having said that, despite the opinions of most posters re: our best key defenders, we have been significantly weakened without both Moore and McGuane so far this season.  Not saying they are world beaters but missing them is making a fair difference.

Who'd have picked Nahas to be so good at the beginning of the season. Not me! Go Robbie.
