It's Over...Roll The Dice

Ok folks, the season is over, we will be lucky to win another game lets face it and if we do well whoopy do.

So then why flog the guts out of some of our players.....some...that have worked their behind off all year...rest them up.

I really think when and where.... WHEN AND WHERE we can lets play this lot at some stage and/or for the rest of the year, even if we have to elevate one of them...IF WE CAN!!!

Contin, Pat
Hicks, Robert
Jakobi, Ben

Lets see if this lot can show us any future, I realise a lot are rookies and a few maybe injured but if there is any way to give them a go we should do it!!

All are roookies would need to be promoted and we only have 2 spots.... so I'd go with Contin and O'Reilly

As for the others - Hicks has gone backwards Jakobi has missed most of the season injured and Westhoff well as I mentioned in the Coburg match thread for this week, he cannot even crack it for a game in the VFL seniors, no way in hell can you play him in the AFL

So from that list (good summary WP) it would be good to get some games into the following 6 to see what they have got,

MacDonald, Dean
Dea, Matt
Nason, Ben
Post, Jayden
Contin, Pat
O'Reilly, Jamie

Personaly I would mainly like to see Post, Nason, Dea and Contin given some or more games. With Post being the most important one. The others might have had there future decided by the coaching staff and that might be why we wont see them.

Post has been named in the ruck for Coburg.

I will watch with interest to see how he goes.

I agree WAT - worth playing the unknowns and resting the knowns, where ever possible. Nice list Fluffy - I would love to see all thise guys play at least a couple of games before the seasons out but particularly Post, Dea, McDonald and Contin - in that order.

Agree with all the comments, lets play who we can and see what they are made of!!! No point losing players like Martin, Cotchin etc....this late into the season. Rest Jack and get him sorted too.

For West Coast game and rest of season:

In-Post, Webberley, Dea, Jakobi, Helbig
Out-Thursfield, Edwards, Jackson, White, Newman(inj)

A cleanout of 3 turnover types.
