Hahahaha it took Hawthorn years to get their total in Tassie and that has included a time when St Kilda were an emerging force circa 2004 with many past greats of their club coming from Tassie also. Plus the Hawks have won a flag recently which will help to boost numbers further.

Naught can't get 8000 "members"  to a game in Melbourne yet they think they will get 8000 in Tassie.
Sure Tassie has no stand alone AFL team but Naught are exactly that Naught and dreaming.

They are a poo footy club who very few people actually care about. There will be fans attending their games to get a live AFL hit but I doubt they will get 8000 members from Tassie. I think Hawthorn are way out in front on that one. Once again Naught happy to play second fiddle to a much more powerful and better footy club waiting for that handout of one crumb.

N0rt are clueless on all levels ..... Eugene inserts foot before engaging mouth

And gee I reckon they are hoping we play them down there as they know they will get a huge crowd of our members  ;D

I owuld think N0rt will relocate down there by 2015; 2016 at the latest

I can recall a $100 million dollar carrot being dangled in front of Nought a few years ago.
For the sake of a few hundred they stayed here and vowed to go nowhere.
In the few years since they have proposed Perth, Ballarat and now Hobart.
Would love to see a Tassie consortium come up with the funds to launch their own club unique to Tassie in the near future and send Nought home with nought.

Not the greatest starts by North already outcasting the north and north-west.

Quote
Arocca said the two-hour-plus drive between Launceston and Hobart meant it was likely North supporters in the north of the state would buy a Hawthorn Tasmanian membership and attend their games, and vice versa in Hobart.

I can't see them reaching the 8000 members. Hawks have been here on there own for a while now and have had premiership success.
They also have star players people go along to watch like Buddy etc.
Kangaroo's game is nothing more then an extra AFL game in the state and a game Hobart people can go along to. I can't see people changing from supporting there current team to them unlike what people did with the Hawks.
