There's no one messiah sadly. In modern footy you need the best and brightest people in each position of our footy dept. individually and collectively continually making the right decisions that maximally benefit the Club over the long-term. Even if Cuz was the greatest coach in waiting he would still have to coach our current playing list. A coach is only as good as the cattle at his disposal.

Richmond has never wanted to spend the money to head hunt the best operators like Stephen Wells from Geelong in Recruiting or even the best assistant coaches or even coaches at some stage although most wouldnt have wanted to come to RFC over the last 20 years anyway.
