3 - Brown - Very good all day and kicked a nice clutch goal
2 - Johnson - Fought of injury and pain and contributed all day. Great piece of play making something out of nothing with a snap goal in the last quarter. Captain's game.
1 - Pettifer - Encouraging game and finished with a flurry with two very nice goals. Nice rev up of the crowd as well

Other good players:

Richo - Great second efforts today and busted his gut as usual
A.K. - Some brave pieces of play that we've become accustomed to seeing from him.
Bowden - Used the ball very well and got a heap of it, but would be better served playing on someone rather than getting easy kicks as a losse man in defense I would think.

Well done to my man Cambo showing his team mates how to clear the ball  in the in the last quarter. (Was pretty crap before that though)

3 - Johnson - leadership shone through - especially coming back on the ground with his sore ankle. No less than 5 jabs they reckon  ;D Great captain's goal in the final term when it was needed  :thumbsup

2 - Brown - great game but would be nice if saw it every week. Must say when I saw the socks down I thought we might be on song today  ;D

1 - Richo for the 1%ers that the so called experts reckon he never gives us - yeah right.

Special mentions to:

Tuck: got a rev at 3/4 time and produced :thumbsup
Staffy: You now it's amazing how muvh better we looked with him out there (and no Ray Hall in defence  :rollin) - he has a presence
Pettifer: Could it be finally  :help  ;D
Hartigan: skill errors are costly but he runs, he attacks, he aint backward on coming forward  :bow

THE GOLDEN TURNUP (AKA THE JOHNNY MANTON MEDAL)

One moment, one play and it happened in the first quarter. Yep I decided that it would be hard for anyone to top it.

Picture this first quarter, Tigers up by a couple of goals,  ball just outside the Tigers 50 metre ark - player grabs ball had young Deledio at least 20 metres in the clear on his right hand side. Where does the ball get kicked? Unfortunately this player has "no right side" so it goes straight to the oppositition .......... sound familiar....

Take a bow - Mark Chaffey -  :scream :help ;D

Enough said...............

lmfao WP, I thought Gaspar's three clangers in 5 minutes during the 3rd quarter were award worthy.

3 Votes - Kane Johnson - Captains game.  Ankle injury, smart head.  Slowed up the play when needed

2 Votes - Joel Bowden - Swept up the half back line well and used the ball effectively

1 vote - Nathan Brown - 22 touches, 3 goals, and a great steadying goal.  May have not started the season on the dizzy heights of 2004, but i reckon he will win the best and fairest this year.

Apologies - Richo - always trying to present himself in a flooded forward line.  Hyde and Tuck
