Audio of Grigg's interview on Morning Glory today ... [5:37 min]

And the article on the RFC website:

“I think we’ve got a lot of confidence out of the pre-season we’ve had. We’ve had a really solid few months and we’ve implemented some of the things we’ve worked on, during the NAB Cup, which has been pleasing. Our defensive stuff has been the big improver so far, and also the way we’ve used the ball.  I think we’ve looked after it a bit more and given our forwards better use. It’s Dimma’s third year at the Club and teams take a bit of time to get used to the game plan and the way we want to move the ball.  It’s a progression.  We’ve changed over about 30 blokes in the last few years. The transformation stage is finished, I suppose, so we’re all trying to work together and improve.”

“I just want to be a valuable team-mate again. Just to play my role, whatever the coaches and the boys need me doing.  I’ll just put my hand up and do it."

If this bloke could only improve his kicking :banghead - still, he is probably in our top 22.

I thought his stride was larger and kicked with more penetration.  Maybe he has been suffering with OP or other groin type problems.  He certainly looked like a different player.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

His kicking was still a lucky dip
