Dufflecoats and other memories
« on: November 08, 2008, 12:40:10 AM »
SEN last night with Finey were talking about their old dufflecoats and asking people to ring about theirs and if they had any obscure player's number sewn on it.

They also interviewed David Norman from the cheer squad. He talked about a guy called Jason in the CS back in the early 80s who use to wear a tux with Disco Roach's 8 on the back. They also brought up the "Wayne '45' Shand" sign in the crowd back then.

I had Geoff Raines when he was the number 40!!! And then Trevor Poole.
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”
