Summary

* We're one of the clubs chasing Hawthorn which is clearly the frontrunner.

* We're positioned well given our core has come through and played many games together and is now in the prime age bracket. We've also fortunate to have had very few injuries coming into this season. Dimma believes we can and will eventually pass Hawthorn. Ch 7 interpreted this as we are aiming for the flag.

* Only just got use to Dusty's previous hairstyle before he dropped this one on us. Dimma said he doesn't care what hairstyle Dusty has as long as he is getting a kick. This year is exciting as Dusty will be a midfielder who pushes forward rather than in previous years where it was the other way around.

* If Gill gave Dimma three wishes, he would wish for:
(i) remove prior opportunity (with holding the ball).
(ii) make it illegal for opposition clubs to approach contracted players.
(iii) Give the clubs back more power in terms of negotiations and holding onto players. Dimma believes the balance has gone too far the other way.

Here's the footage of Dimma's interview on Ch 7 news last night ...

Thirty-five years after Richmond last tasted premiership success, Tigers coach Damien Hardwick believes the club has finally built a list that can challenge for a flag.
