Who should come in Hartigan?
« on: April 14, 2005, 05:14:26 AM »
The RFC site's poll has:

Danny Meyer  34%
Adam Pattison 5%
Ray Hall 16%
Tom Roach 30%
Kelvin Moore 15%

With Hartigan and Johnson out and with Freo's midfield depth I would think we'd go with a running player rather than tall. Coburg getting thumped in both their opening matches doesn't help with picking guys to come in.

Is Meyer ready? Has heaps of talent but needs to get into the gym.

Well considering how poor Coburg were last Saturday you could make an arguement for no-one coming in - perhaps David King can make a comeback :rollin :rollin

But out of those on the list I'd go with Meyer - plenty of footy smarts, and doesn't take a backward step. He took a number of hits on the weekend and just got up.

He deserves an opportunity  :thumbsup

Yep Meyer for mine.  He is quite raw at the moment but boy does he have some talent.  He has silky skills and people will be in awe when they see him kick a ball.  Knights like balance and awareness also.  Blood in talent and get some games into them I say.
Does anyone have half an idea on anything?

Tom Roach for mine. He seems to have a knack of doing what Hartigan was doing last week, going straight down the guts.
