Should we make a play for Robbie Warnock as insurance for Maric?

If so, what should we Trade for him? 3rd rounder? A player?

Has fallen out of favor at Carlton, and is reportedly being pursued by the two new teams.

Would surely take the 2nd pure ruck spot ahead of Browne, Angus and Derrickx?

Discuss.

i reckon it would be near impossible to convince another pure ruckman that we can offer them more opportunities, unless they scrap the substitute system.

it would have to be someone that can play both ruck and forward to a satisfactory level.

does warnock fit that bill?

Would rather keep Graham, thats how low i rate Warnock.

is he mobile? No. is he a good tap ruckman? No.

Pass unless they would take Jackson off our hands

:lol :cheers

Not sure there is a ruckman out there that would want to come here. There's only a few that would get a game ahead of Maric. No one should be content with playing reserves

Full name   Robert Warnock
Date of birth    19 January 1987 (age 25)
Place of birth   Black Rock
Original team   Sandringham Dragons (TAC Cup)
Draft   No. 42, 2005 National Draft, Fremantle
Height/Weight   206cm / 103kg

Positives

- he's huge
- noted to be similar style to Jacobs of Adelaide or Sandilands
- got to be better than Graham

Negatives

- mobility
- Does Maric like sharing the ruck duties - appears he loves and thrives at rucking all game with minimal breaks

Not that I'd have wanted him

I'd go after Hille from the dons.  He can go forward is long in the tooth so he's third ruck there and he would play 2nd ruck at the tigers in a heartbeat.

Heard twice that he would rather just retire than start anew somewhere else if he got delisted.
