AFL cancels investigation.
It is allegedly understood the AFL has cancelled an investigation into "so called" tanking by the Richmond football club.
Sources close to the AFL have allegedly confirmed that it had opened an investigation into the RFC as to how the club could lose atleast three unloseable games this season.
It is allegedly believed that there was genuine concern about the tigers losing seemingly unloseable games against Gold Coast Suns, Carlton and Port Adelaide respectively. In all three games the tigers were in a winning position with just minutes to go and the general consensus with most football experts was it was regarded as impossible to lose those games.
Even though the tigers drew the game with Port Adelaide, the AFL was allegedly keen to investigate this game also.
It's allegedly understood that allegedly Adrian Anderson contacted integrity officer Brett Clothier, to investigate the Richmond club about these allegations but it was allegedly cancelled just as quickly as it began when someone highlighted one pertinent fact......
.... It's Richmond!
