Caro on 3aw now:

* For the first time since Martin was drafted, Richmond is considering a world without him. If he goes awry they wouldn't want to wait 5 years from now to trade him. Caro added Dusty hasn't endeared himself with the club over the past couple of months with his behaviour and stuff he did midway through the season. She said if Dusty doesn't change his ways he could end up another Fev. Not in terms of drugs/alcohol or anything like that but just as a talented footballer who wasted his footy career with his poor behaviour.

* Richmond was privately hoping Connors would end up in the SANFL and not Alberfeldie (suburb around Essendon) so he was no longer in communicable distance with Martin.

* Healy claimed clubs overlooked Dusty at draft time because he was a ticking timebomb (nb. says the bitter Melbourne supporter  ::) )

Just let him drink and take substances. Worked for Cuz :shh

Did it?

Tigers want structure for Dustin Martin

Mark Stevens on the Gold Coast
    From: Herald Sun
    November 23, 2012 9:39AM

RICHMOND coach Damien Hardwick has no problem with young superstar Dustin Martin picking his own friends, but admits he needs to choose carefully.
Dustin Martin

"We can't say who to hang with and who not to,'' Hardwick said yesterday. "The situation is, if you put yourself with good people, generally good things happen.

"He's a guy we think has got an enormous future with this footy club and we just want him to surround himself with the best people possible.''

Hardwick, on the Gold Coast for last night's draft, was responding to a Herald Sun interview with sacked Tiger Daniel Connors.

Connors conceded the Tigers had told him to stay away from Martin.

Hardwick stressed the lifestyle structure of being involved with an elite sporting club helped Martin.

"We've spoken to him in the off-season about trying to structure up his off-field ... there's a number of players in the same boat,'' Hardwick said.

Getting sick of these stories and the 'blow by blow' accounts given out by the club. Fix him or pee him off.......for a good price of course.
