Who's coming up to Bris?
« on: May 09, 2005, 03:45:46 PM »
Who's coming up to the Brisbane game on May 21.  I heard from a little bird that some people on another forum had trouble getting tickets to this game.  Guess who just got tickets, sitting with members of the Richmond FC supporters Qld, for herself and mini-me!!!!

Can't wait! :thumbsup :thumbsup 8) 8)

Hey Julz do you know if the Qld supporters group are having an after match function this year?

Yes.  From the RFCQLD newsletter:

POST-MATCH FUNCTION
To be held at East Leagues Club Auditorium. The players will arrive to have dinner at approx 10:30 p.m. During this time the main raffle will be drawn as well as presentations and we ask you to cast your vote for The James Bachelard Memorial Shield, awarded to the player Best Afield. The team and coaching staff will take the stage for a few questions and a brief of the game. The James Bachelard Memorial Shield will be awarded with a power point presentation tribute to James. The Players will then make themselves available for photos and autographs.
This function is open to all, however, only members will have free entry.

I won't be going to this  :( as it will be quite late for a little miss and we have to catch the bus to Garden City, where hubby will kindly be waiting for us to take us back to the Coast.

Hey om21, you can still fly up with Jetstar on the Friday and come home on the Sunday for $190, not sure if there's any tickets left with footy tours tho.
I usually get my own flight and book the 'ticket+accom' deal thru footy tours.

Experience is a good school. But the fees are high.

The cheapest you can do that same trip thru Virgin is about $350.

I'm not coming up to Brisbane.

I might jump in a cab and go to the game though. :lol

I'm getting sent tickets as part of my interstate membership section 31 and I also bought four in section 57.

Hmmmmm

Where to sit ??

For those interested, there will be training at the Gabba on Friday at 4.30pm.  Not good for those of us that have to travel up from the Coast.  Not going to compete with Friday arvo traffic so I will not be attending.  The boys will have to wait till Saturday night to see me. ;)

Well done to the OER guys and gals on getting the boys over the line  :thumbsup. A good tiger contingent there for an interstate game. Made heaps of noise.

Yep I was still horse on Sunday.

Even all that beer at the Aussi Nash didn't help.
