Congrats Adam Scott first Aussie to win the Masters at Augusta

Won in a play birding the 2nd sudden death play off hole

 :clapping :clapping :clapping

Has the honour now of wearing the traditional Green Jacket of the champion

Traditions are so important  ;D

What is a little ironic though is he putts using one of those broomstick putters which is going to be banned from 2016 (which I totally agree with except the date BTW)

Hope the media folk dont' make that a story. They should just concentrate on what a brilliant win this is

stuff the broom stick what a win. if they make a story out of it they can get lost. How many other titles were one with the broom.

It was a fantastic win, a gutsy win to hold his nerve. It would do a lot for the sport of golf in this country.

Tiger Woods you shouldn't even have been in contention son

Agree it is a great win

Agree on both points

Woods should have disqualified himself like other players have done (Norman did it twice while leading tournaments). Rather than saying the officials penalised me and I accept that. There are unwritten rules regarding the etiquette of certain sports, golf is one of those sports, what Woods did by playing on broke those rules, will rightly lose a lot of fans over it

Well there's 2 after today so if they are going to whine and moan then I hope they apply the whinging to the other broom winners

Pretty sure Els did also

I just loved it how an Aussie showed nerves of steal.

That putt on the 18th and the fist pump that followed was what sports all about
