they will offer pick 9 and Adams IMHO.

I'd take that as a break even.

If Martin decides to go to GWS they will NOT screw us.

Agree, the afl wont let them, more importantly, GWS has more to lose and wont want to. Both know they could easily get reemed when their kids want back home, so both will take a proactive approach now. It's in their interests to be fair.

In short, if GWS try to roll us then this will be the modus operandi in dealing with the newest clubs

Whats Adams like ramps?

I dont care for his stats of 2013. Can he be a match winner

No he isnt a matchwinner in the mould of martin but he will be a good player nevertheless. Pick 9 gives us another top 10 pick as well. so all up I think its fair because whilst Martin has a reputation as a gamebreaker he doesnt do it often enough.

Adams will be a very good player at the least.
we will not get adams and pick 9 for dustin martin.
we could look to upgrade picks
it would go adams plus pick 20 and pick 38 for martin and pick 28. imo that would almost be best case scenario for us.

it would leave us with the following and focusing solely on the nd. we would also  have options with picks like these to trade em away. it would allow us to say trade pick 11 for longer  and still keep a pretty decent pick  #20 in the nd.
anyway nd alone
adams  basically would be  a top 10 pick this draft.

11 geez one of, trent dumont, blake acres, luke dunstan, dom sheed  or marcus bontempelli would be assured. one of these blokes could be there at 20.reckon we would be happy with any of these and one of them along with adams   would go a long way to off setting martins loss.

20 this would be a free hit on what we percieve is our greatest need. imo it would give us a free shot at darcy cameron a 203cm 98kg ruckman from claremont. he could slip to 38 but with the extra pick do we risk it.

38  would give us some chance at getting dayle garlett.  there will be decent mids available here someone like nick robertson would be a steal here.or we could look at a kpd like tom barras

46. ben sokol a fwd/mid or again look for a tall

anything along these lines while not offsetting the loss of such a high quality player like martin would alleviate a lot of pain and allow us to address  a lot of needs whith damn good picks.

Martin to Melbourne for pick 2 the priority pick if available or Sam Blease. I agree with Tiga the kid can play is lightning fast and has good goal sense.
