My fear of flying just got worse

I avoid flying wherever possible - coward lol.  Although I'm off at Easter and flying, so this will just make my journey so much more special lol

Flying up to Sydney this weekend. First time since last year's lightning incident - not the news I wanted to read

Probably someone who knew I was flying decided to make up some crap story to put the fear of god into me - and you as well it appears lol.
I have never ever gotten used to being in a sardine can at 30,000 feet no matter how many times I fly

I'm not an aircraft expert but don't all aircraft have manual overrides which would prevent any sort of electronic hijacking?

actually how they did it with the ship was to give false gps coordinates, so the crew were unaware it was happening
