FFS.  We finally have stability and have a coach that has played at the highest level and has achieved success as both a player and assistant coach at the highest level.

Who on this forum can say they have done that?  NOBODY! Not Ox or Coach.

He has brought us from a basket case of a team to a finalist in a short period of time.

We need to give him a chance even if there are a few backward steps taken.

I am sick of the sack the coach threads.  Let him coach out his contract.  He has earned the right to have that granted.

He will turn things around.  Support him.

What the stuff are you mentioning me for? I haven't called for his sacking and I don't want Williams to coach us.
Hardwick couldn't coach rabbits to stuff but you are right, they stupidly extended his contract and he won't be sacked.

Sorry Coach.  I was only using you as an example.  I apologise if I offended you.

Because it's nigh impossible to build anything substantial on shaky foundations?

Exhibit A:  The RFC over the last 32 years......

Dont blame the coaches.

This stops with the players. if any of you think its the coaches then you should be watching another sport.

Agree 100%, We could get a motivational coach, I suggest Denzel Washington or Al Pacino, even getting a dressing down by Gene Hackman would motivate most people

Why is stability a virtue ?

Because it attracts quality, in 2000, Bomber outright rejected us because of our poor track record in sacking coaches.

Not saying Hardwick needs or will last another 3 years but have no problem having this year and the option of 2015.
He has consistently improved the teams position in the ladder in his first 4 years, I'm not knocking him if 2014 doesn't pan out.
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”
