Hardwick on 3AW - Wed 09/04/2014

Hardwick on 3aw earlier tonight ...

AUDIO: http://media.mytalk.com.au/3AW/AUDIO/090414_damien_hardwick.mp3

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tigers coach Damien Hardwick has roasted the Duck [Wayne Carey], scoffing at advice the Roos champion offered him regarding Jack Riewoldt.

Speaking on Channel 7, Wayne Carey was incensed that Hardwick has been playing Riewoldt "out of position".

"He has to play full forward. He has to be in the 50-metre arc. I don't care if you've got Vickery or other kids with talent, he's got to play there," Carey said.

"If he doesn't play there, move him on. If Damien Hardwick doesn't want to use Jack Riewoldt at full forward then get something for him."

But Hardwick was having none of it, telling Sports Today: "What? You want me to listen to Wayne Carey? Jeez."

"Who won the Coleman last year? Jarryd Roughead." Hardwick added. "He played on ball, he played on the wing.

"The modern game, we don't have full forwards these days. Name me one full forward who plays full forward the whole day," Hardwick said.

"Unfortunately, which ever way you look at it, we don't play one-position players anymore."

Hardwick  said Deledio was severely underrated by many in the footy community.

“I think he’s a calible of a Corey Enright, a Joel Corey, that sort of player. He is an extraordinary talent. Unfortunately, if you don’t play in as many winning sides you don’t get the credit you deserve.”

He's only the greatest forward to ever play the game. Why would anyone listen to him?

Thought Jonathon Brown played within 35 metres of the goal square for the past 5 years
Surely that's a full forward

But they've hardly won a game in 5 years!

Yep Dimma, Roughie plays on the ball and on the wing but MOSTLY he plays deep forward that's why he won the Coleman.
Jack has played on the wing and even took a good mark across HB last week but MOSTLY he should play deep forward.
Geez and media people let him get away with this crap.

The media in this country has gone to the dogs. No one questions the statements anymore.
The worst is the politicians. Total lies they spout and nobody challenges them.

Chris Maybe stays pretty close to home. JPod won a flag out of the goal square.  Dont see Hawkins up much.

Not everyone is Buddy. Stop whacking off Clarkson.

Stubborn, stagnant and skata.

Hawkins probably moves 200 metres an entire game these days. Hardwick talking out of his arse.

DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.
