My view  that the rebuild has failed is because the club hasnt recognised what Claw has recognised and that is that "newman grigg houli edwards chaplin vickery petterd foley king and several others" are basically not capable of helping us to win a flag but they are getting games instead of kids getting games. I would have all of these blokes off the list completely among with several others If I could and put kids on the list in their places in the hope we can find 1 or 2 more A graders but unfortunately the club persists with blokes who cant help us get to the 11th Premiership.

The club will be saying we beat both grand final teams this season so we aren't that far away.

At this rate Carlton will be playing themselves.  :lol

You could present an argument that the kids and our depth aren't that good either if a side that is on the developmental path for 3 years is flogging our ressies by 117 point :help

To me the one big mistake the club has made is of going to much for the recycled player. Its ok to bring in one or two per season but we appear to have gone way to far.

Not all but a majority. All this shows to me is a lack of development and depth. If the Dogs are doing it in year 3 we are in year five and should have a ressie side chock full ogf blokes who have the capabilities of playing senior footy. All we have is a group of players that some of which the jury is clearly still out on 3-4-5 years in. Hell we have blokes playing senior footy 8 years in the system who offer less than a moulded twistie and an empty mars bar wrapper.

Yep we are poo. That's just our lot though. We will forever be poo and we will keep going back to taste the poo sandwich till we die.  :cheers

Jackson McCrae did more for me last week than what Vickery has done since he got drafted in 2008. Add kids like Stringer and co with a couple of disciplined more mature types like Griffen and Minson and you have a nucleus. Given his clearance rate you wouldn't think Tommy Libba would line up at half forward at centre bounces unless he plays for us and his name is Dusty or Cotch. FFS. :banghead
