Tried hard all day but just couldn't get his hands on the ball. We expect more but should bounce back next week. "

How's Pat Contin going?

This is what will happen if Hardwick actually did drop the likes of Grigg, Edwards, Houli, Newman, Chaplin & Petterd - the kids /replacements would come in and unless they all had absolute blinders and we won , they'd cop the blame and Hardwick would say "oh look we really missed the "experience" and "bigger bodies" of blokes like Grigg, Edwards, Houli, Newman, Chaplin & Petterd out there today..."

Mcbean looks to kick most of his goals from ground level working his way around lumbering vfl Backman rather than towering marks, he won't get away with at at afl level

Agree. Saw a bit of that pre season.
AFL coaches will match him up accordingly.
