Just dont want to come 9th

After such an up and down season I am very happy with the boys, thus far getting to 9 wins.

However, after so many years of just missing our before us crash and burning at the bottom I just dont want to come 9th on our first year under Terry!

8th would be great, get some finals experence into the future of the of the club (Tuck, Cogs, Lids, hopfully Bling etc.) or even 11th/10th with a decent draft pick and a good overall effort on last season.

Just not 9th - it haunts me at night

I can haunt you even more CB lol

1996 - Walls' first year as coach - 9th
1998 - Geischen's first year as coach - 9th
2000 - Frawley's first year as coach - 9th
2005 - Wallace's first year as coach - ?

I hope we make the finals too just to give our kids a taste of September so they learn from the experience about the intensity, skills and smarts required to play finals footy. It would also be great for Cambo to finish his career in a final. He deserves it. However if we don't then I hope we treat the year as one of progress given we have exceeded expectations rather than as failing and falling short. Whether we sneak in or not we are not good enough to match it with the top sides yet wherever we finish on the ladder. This is only Wallace's first year after all. Plenty of work still needed to done before we are a realistic contender.

I'm not fussed if we make the 8.
Last weeks Port game was the best we've played for a long time.
