What is achievable in 2014 after Dream time?
« on: June 01, 2014, 11:35:16 AM »
The season is absolutely shot.

We have beaten Carlton who absolutely choked in the last qtr and should have buried us.
We have beaten an injury riddled Brisbane in a close game, could have lost it.
We have thrashed a new franchise club.

Without doubt Brisbane and GWS are bottom 2 clubs. We have failed to beat anyone else except Carlton who bottled it.

What is worth achieving in 2014?

The club has to tank. Has to, we have some decent talent still under 25 which should be our core to build around. There is an uncompromising draft coming up, perfect time to strategically tank. Don't be stupid like Melbourne. Send guys into surgery instead of playing injured, play McBean, Darrou, Miles etc.

So much for a winning mentality - how many games did we win last year? How much did that help us this year?

Need to get the best picks and build through the Draft.  Look at Melbourne.

Play the kids and get rid of this recycled rubbish. It's the only thing left for us to take out of the year.
Go Tigers!

Keep playing injured players and break them.

Turn more promising players into potatoes.

Turn our stars into potatoes.

We are nearly there.  :clapping :clapping

DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

I think the most achievable task for the rest of the year is to see whether a collective effort be made to get Grigg the B&F
