A man's got to eat - but when going  out for a stroll with a lady may not be the best time.

Clearly retired AFL player Matthew Richardson didn't get that memo.

The 39-year-old, who is affectionately known as Richo to his fans, was spotted on Monday in south Melbourne scoffing down a piece of meat while his long-term girlfriend Genevieve Holliday was so embarrassed she walked behind him.

It's Daily Mail Aus not uk even though it has uk in the adress it's by an Aussie journo from here
