Christmas family get togethers.
« on: December 12, 2014, 07:08:51 PM »

Tomorrow, Sat Dec 13, I have the whole catastrophe happening for lunch at my place.

30-40 relatives descending for lunch.

The first and second generation I know well.

After that I struggle with names, especially with the partners.

Wish me luck.

Ahhhhhh time to get the old generic descriptive names out:-

Mate, buddy, champ, bella, boss, Cobba, guys, kids etc etc.

just be confident like you know them but are indifferent. No stage fright

A good day, apart from some whippersnapper that insisted on calling me Great-Uncle.  :lol

That's over for another four years.

Next year will be at a pub (my sister can't cook) and then a trip to the country.

Not sure what will happen after that as the older brother has moved into a retirement village.

 :cheers

Reminds me '65 of Christmas when I was a young kid with the whole Italian side of my family converging on my Aunty Tess' place in Oak Park. Just don't bring up politics otherwise from experience WWIII breaks out  :lol.
