Play Astury Forward
« on: April 16, 2015, 09:22:35 AM »
Here's my two cents worth
Play Astbury as the 3rd tall this week against the lions.
Chaplin, Batch & Rance as the tall backs will be enough

Astbury is a long term backline player

rather play Chaplin forward. He is a good mark and showed against Port last year he can impact up forward

Astbury would be a good forward but agree should stay in backline. Better to move Chaplin.

Astbury forward  :lol

Hardly that far-fetched - he did start his career there and looked quite good IIRC. Then again, if you weren't really just a Hawthorn troll you'd already know that.

Cannot play Rance, Astbury, Batch, Chaplin in the same team at any time but more so against the Lions.

Throw in Grimes and we are way too tall and lack run.

Another reason we should move Morris back and bring in Butler -who is quick, can tackle and kick goals- to play forward.

Geez Garlett would be handy right now though. The sign said free to good a home and we just kept on driving, Drummondville or bust.

Agree with Chucky, somewhere near Swan Street and Burnley Street just to make sure Chuck.  :cheers

They wont play Butler then not smart enough to work out that we are slow and need pace. They will bring in more slow players.

Surely getting killed for pace last week we wouldn't go in that tall........then again  :whistle

that's my thinking too, in fact I said he should have played last week to go to Boyd, rance was never going to be needed on him, could have gone to stringer and we would have won convincingly, lost at selection  :shh
