After jumping on the bandwagon earlier in the year, Mike Sheahan has obviously gone back to his Tiger-hating ways.  And after announcing the All Australian team who really cares what Mr. Sheahan thinks is the team of the year.  Does this guy have tickets on himself or what?

To be honest, I think we should be stoked that he chose Razor, out of position, at full-forward.   

I don't know how many players we could realistically make a case for...

Brown. Even after only 10 games I would have thought he'd be a walk-up start.

Well done Joel on attaining All Australian having said that I'm perplexed at the class of player selected, take the backline for example we have Croad, Hodge & Clement all from clubs who couldn't win 5 gamers for the season. I thought Richo & Tuck were unlucky.

Two clubs playing finals don't have a representitive, I believe the selectors have passed their used by date and it's time people who are not long out of the game sit on these panels.

I'm not sure how Richo could have been selected in front of Hall or Pavlich. Pavlich has been unbelievable at times and plays a more difficult true CHF role. Living up here in Sydney I've seen a lot of Hall and I reckon he is absolutely tremendous. He gets as much attention as Richo, but seems better at bringing other players into the game, a real physical presence too. Granted the likes of O'Keefe and Buchanan are easier to play with than Krak, but in my mind he thouroughly deserves the full-forward spot.

Robertson was unlucky from the Dees but both Melbourne and Geelong just fell into the finals in the end given there were 3 spots up for grabs out of 7 clubs with 2 rounds to go. Plus the Cats are a very even side with no real superstars. Milburn was probably their only chance as Scarlett's first half of the year was poor.

In saying that yeah it's time for some fresh faces or at least different faces. The same people seem to get chosen to judge nearly every award.
