I'll add a couple of comments for perspective


Firstly, Pattinson very rarely played backline.

but more importantly,  Moore, McGuane and Thursfield were better than Chaplin.

Like I said, Pattison was more ruck.

Backline looked horrible back then.

Don't agree that Moore, McGuane or Thursfield's best was as good as Chaplin's best. At least McGuane was tougher and I suppose I expect more from Chaplin given his physique.

Oh and I miss seeing Jake King running around too. We really need tougher players it's killing us.
