Any interest in Paul Thomas who was delisted by the Dons?

He won the Megary medal last year and played some good games this season, i really thought he played a top game against us this season in the second game when it rained. Seemed to have good skills but maybe his downside is his pace.

What are peoples thoughts?

I'd definetly take him in the PSD.

Mightn't be the fastest guy around, but has good poise, disposal and is very aggressive at the ball.

His perceived lack of pace to play consistently in the midfield seems to be the reason he's been delisted. I didn't notice anything else too wrong in the few games I saw him play. He may get away with it at VFL/SANFL level but at AFL level its of course another story. Sheeds normally doesn't get it wrong when offloading players.

Thomas best game was against us when he got 18 possessions but we've been bitten before picking up recycled players who've had one day out against us. If he lacks pace then I can't see Terry being interested.

Bomber fans are sad to see him go after only one year that's for sure. Thomas was also on Adelaide's rookie list in 2002 when the Crows hit the jackpot in the rookie draft with Rutten, Mattner and Bock.

Still given what looks like a thin PSD, IMO he'd be one of the better choices if we can't get a tallish defender.
