Say we get pick #6 at the end of the year and keep it....
« on: June 13, 2016, 09:54:44 AM »
What sort of player should we draft?

Last time i looked into it a couple of months back there were a heap of mids along with small fwds, a few key defenders and only 1 decent ruck and 1 decent key fwd in the top 25 prospects.

Do we target a specific positional need or go best available?

Anyone heard any update on top 10 prospects?

Depends on if we are gettin Hurley / Jenkins / Patton / Prestia  :lol

I would say best available if we keep it cause we have holes every where:  ruck. Small. Kpp

Might be worth trading to get Patton

Best available but I'm hoping that's a big bodied inside/outside mid.

I say we think outside the box and use the pick on a soccer player so he can teach some of our players how to use the ball better with their heads and faces when they constantly fumble their marks, like Vickery.

Trade pick 6 for 2 picks between 10-20

Given what Hackson did with our last pick 6, then we should definitely trade....

Trade it for Prestia, our recruiters will probably delist Batchelor and redraft him using pick 6 if we keep it, by the way that was a joke, I know that couldn't happen but I'm just trying to point out how useless our recruiters are...before the usual clowns jump in.
