Future picks

Clubs may trade future draft selections. Clubs must:

• Only trade selections from the following year's draft

• Make at least two first-round selections in each four-year period. If they don't, they will face restrictions from trading any further first-round draft picks

If a club trades a future first-round selection, it may not trade any other future selections from the same draft. However if a club retains its future first-round selection, it can trade multiple future selections from other rounds.

So it's confirmed GWS won't be losing any picks over the Whitfield affair then?

Just assumed that was the case because that's their own official site, it says final order.....if it's not the case, then they need to get a move on as the draft is only 4 days away....

Greater Western Sydney will not be stripped of picks at on Friday night’s national draft.

A decision on penalties will instead be delayed until after GWS chiefs have the chance to argue their case before the AFL Commission.

If found guilty next month, the Giants face a fine or the loss draft picks in 2017.

I call on the AFL to strip GWS of all their picks and anyone else they can strip too, so we can actually get into this draft...what a joke our picks are and how the muppets at tigerland are continuously sending out feel good stuff about who we gave up pick 6 and next years second rounder for...i mean...who is responsible for that?  Are they stil at the club?
