Footy Show freshen up continues with star Tiger

THE Footy Show shake up continues with a star Tiger joining the Channel Nine team.

Richmond star Alex Rance, who appeared several times on the show last year, will be increasing his on-air presence this year as guest presenter and will be appearing in a new regular segment.

Rance is also joining the Postcards team alongside Bec Judd, Shane Crawford, Lauren Phillips, Brodie Harper and Shane Delia.

“I am looking forward to being able to combine my love of travel and food and experiencing different things on Postcards and also being able to express myself on a creative level with The Footy Show,’’ Rance said.

“Every now and then a player stands out from the crowd and we think Alex does that.’’

“I am pretty lucky that Channel Nine saw something in me and I am really looking forward to the opportunities.’’

Nine Melbourne’s Head of Production and Programming, Tim Cleary said Rance was a natural on screen.

“Every now and then a player stands out from the crowd and we think Alex does that,’’ Cleary said.

"You’ll see him out and about on Postcards and he’s filming a new segment for The Footy Show. The Pokémon piece he did with Sam (Newman) last year is a nod to what he’ll be doing more regularly on the show this year.”
