Grigg in Ruck
« on: April 30, 2017, 07:08:24 PM »
Nothing against Grigg,
This is unacceptable on all levels, absolute insult that any supporter group has to see a team with no injuries have a midfielder be forced to compete in the ruck position against someone like Jacobs.

West Coast have about 8 ruck man on their list. We have 1.

We have 5, 2 are injured. Match committee are responsible for an awful decision.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

5?

Should I have said AFL standard?

Who on earth are the 5?

Nank is the only AFL standard.

Hampson is not AFL
Soldo is not ready
Maric is finished

Still better than Hamspud....

Maybe but with the exception of Hampson all are better options than Grigg in the ruck. Especially untried talent - what we did today was just taking the pee
