Telstra Dome to stop people bringing their own food?
« on: February 22, 2006, 05:04:59 PM »
I heard someone mention this on the radio a couple of days ago that Telstra Dome was looking into banning people from bringing their own food and drink into the stadium.

Has anyone else heard anything about this?

It would be a joke if it did happen and a disgrace if the AFL allowed it.

It would have a huge impact on the number of families attending the footy.

Yeah I heard that the other day too Bully. IIRC they want to charge something like $6.30 for a hamburger (no chips, no drink). I'd like to know how they think a average family can afford such a rip off. Highway robbery  ::).
