what will the coach be looking for ?
« on: February 28, 2006, 11:48:16 PM »
with the start of home and away only 4 weeks away what will Terry and the coaching team be looking for in our remaining practices matches  will he give all the young fellas a run or will he concentrate more on positional play and tactic development ?
will some of the more senior members of the squad get a breather before the real thing or is it the best available in each game ?

If we weren't playing the dogs this week I'd say we'd be taking it more seriously. Sugar said last night it'll be basically a U25's match (with Browny as a older ring-in :thumbsup). Play the cubs to gain experience at senior level against their pups.

For the remaining weeks Wallace said we'd rotate our senior blokes to give them a rest. Hopefully that means Limbach, Hughes and McGuane will get a run in the seniors.

I'd reckon he will try guys again in different positions to find a diamond like he did with Tuck and Rodan in last year's preseason. Forgetting for the moment whether Jackson and Roach are good enough, we still haven't found a settled position on the park for either of them.
