Just getting back to why this game wasn't at the 'G

I see Melbourne and St Kilda drew 38 910 to the 'G today.

Carlton and the Power drew 26 562 to the 'G yesterday

1 vs 2 on a Thursday night drew 43519 to Etihad.

Are the AFL incompetent or what? Imagine if they had shareholders to answer to.

At seasons end last year blind freddy couldve seen that Brisbane was a better choice for our 1 ettihad home game instead of the swans. wtf are they smoking at AFL house?

Probably because they try and make sure each interstate team gets as many games at the G as possible.

Hear your points but the decision seems sound to me. Any team we host, regardless of the op, we’ll get 35k minimum at the G. That might drop to 25k at the dome.

At least we get 45k v the Swans at the dome in a prime time slot and 35 v the Lions at the G in a boring time slot.
