* Haven't even spoken about the Coleman chase. Don't care.
* Go about the week with the same preparation. Hope the team plays as well as they can. Get a fair indication from the start if we're switched.
* Good thing about the way the Bulldogs play is they are strong on the inside. So contested numbers should be high and we should get a good hit out.
* Rutten leaving is just a part of footy. He's a good coach; he moves on. Shame to lose good people but change is good and we'll get another good coach in.
* Butler to play in the VFL finals next week.
* Lambert to play in the first AFL final in a fortnight.
* Both Butler and Lambert are training well.
* No to Goddard. Switched to Netflix last night as the game was a frustrating one to watch.
* Expects the game today to be tighter than the media thinks as the Bulldogs are playing better with some of the better players back. We'll manage players as we've done in other games.
* Agreed we've been wasting our inside 50 entries especially last week. It's not to the level we wanted over the last 5-6 weeks. So we worked on it during the week and hopefully it improves today.
* Haven't spoken to the umpires after last week. It is what it is. We need to improve on what we are doing as well.
* Step up of our talent this year. Lambert has gone to another level. So has Grimes. Vlastuin has been good again. 15 wins last year but hard to answer if we're playing better this year. Still thinks we can play better.
* Reigning premiers means you're the hunted but the way we play is to play as the hunter. We focus more on the process.
* Caro asked if Tom Lynch is coming to the Tigers and Dimma said the line is breaking up (laughs)
