How has the media been this week?
« on: April 07, 2006, 11:22:48 AM »
Just reading alot of arcticles and threads on the net about our first up performance.

How has the talkback etc been this week in relation to our commitment etc shown on the field last week?

Who is in the barrel of the supporters?

Cheers

From what I heard, apart from last Friday night, talkback hasn’t been too bad.  No one player comes to mind that supporters aimed at.  If any, probably the senior players.

I think most supporters are realistic and, if anything, the pressure on the Club came more from the press and media.  Not sure whether they’re hoping we'll implode or something, or they’re just getting their Richmond fill before we turn things around. :pray

Cannot believe the amount of stuff in the press and media, every day this week, for a club that’s been in the bottom half of the ladder since 2001 and done nothing for about 1,000 years.  Well, it darn well feels like a thousand years.

Richmond sells that why the media can't get enough of us. Like TS said our past makes them think we'll implode again. If we get flogged tonight then media will be on our back big time especially if we do stuff all in the second half.

Our supporters have been more peeed off about the team giving up. Hard to pick on one individual when so many were poor. Gas has been in the gun since that clip of him not chasing Brad Johnson was shown. Everyone else is on notice tonight.
