If there's 3 things we need to improve on in a hurry it is winning first possession, clearances and bounces. We got absolutely smashed in all three last week and it shows up in the pro-stats stats:

The dogs were simply physically harder in the middle and as the number of bounces showed they ran harder all over the park as well.
10 Tigers didn't have one contested possession. Lids had 4 out of interest.
11 didn't win one first possession. Krakouer had 4 while Lids, Foley, Tuck and Simmonds had 3. Scotty West had 8.
10 didn't win a clearance. Lids, Tuck, Tivs, Foley, Browny, Pettifer and Simmonds all had 2. Giansiracusa had 6 while 4 other dogs had more than any Tiger.
Unbelievably the match errors weren't as far apart as you'd expect from watching last week - 65-55. We just made far more costly ones time and time again.
