No way. The pies and Bombers would never even consider leaving melbourne for games and neither should richmond. The club has to think and act like a big 4 club and not skulk about hoping to attract crowds on the road.

A good tigers team would get at least 45,000 on average to home games in MCG or TD and that is where the Tigers belong. Little clubs cast about the rest of the country looking for support. the tigers are a huge clyub and don't need to.

We should never ever play home games anywhere but in Melbourne.

If we’re talking about playing games there right now, as our team is so inconsistent at the moment, not sure whether our matches would be a good advertisement for the game.  If you know what I mean?  How do you know which Richmond will turn up, and when?

Regardless of that, if we ever get our act together then we should be able to exist playing all our games in Melbourne.  So, whichever way you look at it, no we shouldn’t play home games anywhere but here.

Teams like the Swans and North gear their teams to be competitive at all times, for their own reasons.  If we took some of our games elsewhere, would the RFC coaching staff then be compromised, and think they need to forget their blueprint for building and developing a team, and field teams that can be competitive now, for external reasons?

Probably stretching things to some degree, but you just wonder about some of the ramifications of doing that.
