Has anyone ever seen Stack play as a wingman? Just curious cos I've only seen him play as a forward/defender
It’s a natural progression for him because we already know he can defend and attack so I think it’s the best of both worlds for Sydney.
Cool as a cucumber with a lethal right foot that doesn’t shirk a contest as some players do.  :whistle

I agree he could most likely play good football there but the question was has anyone seen him play there? Don't really see why they'd play him in a new position during finals when he's been good down back and up forward.

Think they'll just stick with the current group of guys they have rotating through the wings with Mcintosh potentially getting back in if he gets he first kicked in 4 months some time soon...:shh

B: *Nathan Broad, Dylan Grimes, David Astbury

HB: Shane Edwards, Nick Vlastuin, Bachar Houli

C: Sydney Stack, Trent Cotchin, Shai Bolton.

HF: Daniel Rioli, Tom Lynch, Kane Lambert,

F: Jason Castagna, Jack Riewoldt, Josh Caddy

Foll: Toby Nankervis, Dustin Martin, Dion Prestia

Interchange:  Jack Graham, **Liam Baker, ***Marlion Pickett, ****Ivan Soldo,
Smokies: Jack Ross, Kamden MacIntosh.

*Rance is the obvious replacement for Broad if ok to play even as third defender at 60% capacity.
**Short has been taking lessons off Brandon with pants some pooting antics of late.
***Marlion is speculative but he’s already a better prospect than the chief Snugglers nappies representative we have running around every week.
I have a feeling he will be our 2019 version of Townsend.
****Soldo is ahead of Chol only because of his work ethic. Chol does do the Lay-Down-Sally too often especially late in games which won’t go down well in a final.

Like it!

Rance for Broad!

Pickett or Baker? I’ll play Ross instead of Pickett or Baker. Yet Pickett needs more matches for me to judge.

Hard call, Chol or Soldo? I would go Soldo as he wins hit outs!

How exciting is this:

Sydney Stack
Shai Bolton
Jack Ross
Pickett/Baker
Soldo/Chol

Lynch

All could be playing in there first final.

Lots of Under 23s in our team!

Future very bright!

Nank/Slomo combo is way too slow.... :shh

Pickett for Ellis or Short Steps. :shh :shh

What’s the alternative?

Is Chol ready for the cut and thrust of an AFL finals series?
I agree that Chol has more upside and potential xfactor but can we risk him in a final?
He can’t be doing that non competing rubbish in a final nor can he just give up because he’s tired.
As slow as Soldo is he does fight and compete his guts out all game.

Personally I’d hoped to see Balta establish himself as a regular by now but that doesn’t look likely.

I'm far more worried about carrying the likes of Short & Bellis into finals than Chol... :shh
