Tigers to win the premiership: Fagan (Herald-Sun)

Richmond is Brisbane coach Chris Fagan's tip to win this year's premiership.

Fagan, whose Lions were eliminated from the finals on Saturday night, believes the Tigers' hot form, combined with their determination to right the wrongs of last year, will see them win their second flag in three seasons.

"Collingwood were very good early in the year but that was Round 5 (when we played them), so it's hard to know whether they're going as well now as they were then," he said.

"We were hopeful we might get a chance to find out this week."

Fagan said the Tigers had a proven brand that would stand up in coming weeks.

"Richmond, for me, is the side that's in form at the moment," he told SEN.

"They've had the experience, they're tough, their system stands up under pressure, they'd be hungry after last year's preliminary final loss.

"So I think the Tigers."

Fagan pfft.
He doesn't even realise that even though they won all the stats they still lost the game.

Our style is so unique - stats become irrelevant.

Incredibly harsh

Fagan is talking us up, praising us. He is backing us

No need to belittle I don't think

Fagans done a terrific job and proven himself with what he has already achieved at Brisbane with the  imptovement theyve had under his management.

Fagan has done a magic job with Brisbane, and I wanted them to beat the Giants.  Just a bit unlucky I thought, especially when wassis name did his arm... and Greene the thug shouldn't of been playing either by rights.  I reckon Brissy would of given it to Collingwood

I understand what he's saying.
It's not gonna win us the game.
If we don't win on Friday it's a failed season...again.
