Richmond fan's spectacular tattoo fail as 'creativity' goes wrong7Sport

A diehard Richmond supporter wanted to celebrate the Tigers’ 2020 premiership so he decided on getting a tattoo of coordinates marking the club’s training ground on Punt Rd.
The only problem was when the tattoo artist put down his gun the location branded on the man’s forearm was a few hundred metres away from Richmond’s famous headquarters.
The coordinates were for a spot in Yarra Park - which flanks the MCG - that can be seen from the Tigers’ training ground.
It was the man’s wife who pointed out the mistake with a post on Facebook, which cracked up fans.
“Hubby decided to get a Richmond tattoo today!” she wrote.
“Coordinates to Punt Road. Props for his creativity though.”
One Facebook user commented: “So close. Yet so far”.
The coordinates the fan was looking for are 37°49’19.9”S 144°59’17.9”E.
