Only FOUR players keep their top-10 ranking in Brad Johnson’s revised 2015 draft. There’s not even room for the No. 2 pick

Let me start off by saying this has been the toughest top-10 to pen because, collectively, this draft has serious strength.

... Oliver just edges out dual premiership Tiger, Daniel Rioli, in the 2015 draft.

So much of what Rioli does goes unnoticed, whether it be his running ability up and down the ground or his chasing pressure on opponents.

Like all Riolis, Daniel was born for the big stage. His uncanny ability around goal is almost unrivalled.

BRAD JOHNSON’S 2015 TOP 10

1. Clayton Oliver (Melbourne)
2. Daniel Rioli (Richmond)
3. Jacob Hopper (GWS)
4. Jade Gresham (St Kilda)
5. Josh Dunkley (Western Bulldogs)
6. Charlie Curnow (Carlton)
7. Tom Doedee (Adelaide)
8. Callum Mills (Sydney)
9. Wayne Milera (Adelaide)
10. Jacob Weitering (Carlton)

Dunkley is easily the best player from that draft
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Yep, not a draft to write home about  :P. As well as Rioli at 15, us getting Broad at 67 was terrific late pick selection in such a weak draft.

Agree with others that Josh Duckley is currently the best of the lot. The Swans could have had Dunkley as a F/S but they didn't match the bid from the Dogs at pick 25. What a howler. Mind you we stuffed it too trading our 2015 & 2016 second rounders for pick 19 and then wasting it on Yarran  :P. We would've cleaned up if we had used it on Dunkley instead who had played that year in our VFL side.

Oh well, we sure made up for it in the following year's draft/trade period which went a long way to us winning two of the past three flags.

I still believe Rioli been carrying something since that big injury. He stood up in our final series big time tho this season.
