AFL fields will have a bold new look in 2020 with supermarket giant Coles taking over the centre circle for every single AFL and AFLW match.
Many footy fans were left scratching their heads as the AFL unveiled the new design, featuring a big red circle with the word ‘Coles’ running through the middle.
The change was announced on Thursday and is set to run for five AFL seasons.
“The long-term nature of our partnership allows both Coles and the AFL to give back to local communities and provides opportunities to all Australians,” the AFL’s General Manager Commercial, Kylie Rogers, said.
