A rough summary:* Playing each team once is more equitable. We all going to pay a price but it's more important and great to get the season under way.
* We've had to make some hard calls. Doesn't think we will be at a disadvantage due to it. What has served us well will serve us well going forward. We have a strong culture which will see us through.
* Caro said there's no Balme or Hartley at the club right now. Gale said they will both continue to add the enormous value they do to our club going forward.
* Gale said we've been very open [to club staff]. Provided as much info and given the people ownership of what will happen as much as possible.
* Only can control what we can control. Fitter, stronger, faster will always be apart of the game. There will be an added emphasis on the mental side of the game.
* Recruiting on the back burner at this stage.
* It was survival in the first few weeks. Trying to get through this without taking on too much water. It will settle down in some ways now we've returned to training and getting back to playing.
* A season of trade-offs and compromises. The price we have to pay to complete the season. Need to stay disciplined and control the things we can control. There will be swings and roundabouts. One of those years about the greater good.
* Hutchy asked about a night GF this year and perhaps beyond?
Short answer - don't know. You should never waste a crisis. A blank canvas to try things this year. A twilight or night GF ... sure why not?!
