Richmond has prided itself on pressure in recent years, and this year the numbers are significantly down.

@matthewlloyd18 believes there should be changes at the selection table.

Everyone thought dumping pickett and rioli was the answer, but the issue goes deeper than just those 2.

Wish there were stats for missed tackles & broken tackles ...reckon be right up there...a lot of our players getting easily sidestepped too which indicates to me that they're not watching the opponents hips which in turn indicates they're not fully concentrating....the other problem which actually has been one for years but we've got away with it until now due to our effort, sustained pressure & swarming defence is the way we allow opposition players to still get handballs away in tackles...though sometimes it seems the umpires give opposing teams a lot more time to do so, it still wouldn't be an issue if we just pinned their arms more often....

Ross Lyon questioned whether Richmond (and Eagles) players did the work during the 8 week lockdown as our pressure ratings have dropped off significantly. Especially amongst our smalls/small forwards.

They then showed an example of our lack of pressure this year. They showed vision of Stack in defence not nailing Hill in a tackle (who was under a loose high ball). In fact, Stack didn't lay a glove on Hill. By not checking Hill, Hill was able to burst out of D50, leaving Caddy in his dust, and go on one of his 80m runs.

Harsh on Higgins!!! He came back from brain surgery!!! Everyone else fair game. For me Rioli with -2 is not a big deal but he just isn’t finding the pill

In the AFL website's article on Butler it mentions we've dipped to 15th in the competition for pressure stats this year. So we're bottom 4 at the minute and playing like it  .
