His goal kicking accuracy is the real knock on him. Our small forwards were generally quite crap this year so he’s not alone but he really needs to work on his accuracy at goal

Gave him a 7

Yes his accuracy in front of goal is at times frustrating but you always know what you are going to get with Georgie.

A team first mentality and that's his biggest strength.

Most say he is in the team because of the pressure the puts on but if you look at his numbers he was down on previous years. I have never rated the guy and what I saw this season hasn't changed my mind.  Can never understand his selection.

Easily my least favourite premiership player

I was hard and gave him a 4.

Actually one of my preferred players but his output was poor this year IMO.

Always gives 100% but I want to see him nail more F50 tackles and kick more goals.

I think if you play all 21 games in a premiership side you probably at the very least deserve a pass mark

Looking forward to seeing what Rioli gets if George gets less than a 5

I'll probably give Rioli a 3.

Don't think it was a good year for our small forwards at all, mostly referring to George, Rioli, Higgins etc.

George is 100% one of my favourite players and a starter every week normally but if we had more depth I might have dropped him at some point. But our form and structure and health demanded he play and I acknowledge he moved up the ground a bit more.

Still want to see him doing the pressure and aiming for 30+ goals next year.
