Summary:

* From Round 9 onwards members with reserved seats will be able to sit in their seats. Benny also mentioned those with bays will be able to sit in the bays they've paid for.

* Hard to meet expectations of members in these times. Thankful for the understanding of our members. We don't just exist for our members; we exist because of our members.

* Asked about Bolton?
There's people (Hartley & Clark) who are more knowledgeable that make the decisions on the list and list contracting. Where there is large investments (we have a limit on large money & long term deals) then he and the board might get involved as a delegation. Anything else is left to footy management and the decision is left to them. There isn't a set rule. It's a case by case basis (example Dusty and his 7 year deal). It depends on the individual and the circumstances at the time. Dimma has a say but he is one of many. Head of list management makes the call but it is one based on consensus.

* Benny enjoys sitting on the AFLW committee (which met yesterday). Wouldn't make public his opinion on the expansion of the AFLW to 18 teams (which the committee opposed for 2022). He would though like a clear "delinearisation" between the men's and women's game (in terms of fixture).

* Unprecedented times due to covid but Benny thought the soft cap cuts were too savage. It's the investment in our people that drives the productivity and the improvement in the game.

* Benny likes Thursday night footy. Believes there's an appetite for it and an opportunity to have more.

* Friday night will be a great contest. Huge respect for Geelong as a club. Professional with a strong culture that is consistently putting themselves in a position to challenge. Frank Costa was a remarkable person. Selfless service to his club and his community. Richmond as a club sends its condolences to everyone close to Frank and to Geelong F.C.
