Negative: Poor ball movement = inability to score… again

The Tigers kicked just six goals in the loss to the Dockers.

Apart from the 106 they scored against Brisbane in Round 18, Damien Hardwick’s outfit has battled to score in the past six weeks.

Not including that win over the Lions, they’ve kicked 37.46 in five matches (an average of 7.4 goals and 9.2 behinds) which is simply not good enough.

And it has a lot to do with the way they’re moving the ball with long dump kicks inside 50 seemingly the order of the day. It must be hard work being Tom Lynch or Jack Riewoldt with that sort of delivery.

More broadly, their finals hopes were on the line and they failed to take the opportunity.
